I am so sorry- I am so sad to hear Austin's story. May the Lord somehow direct you to Him for comfort. I have a 13 year old son and a 10 year old daughter....I discussed this deadly game with them last year, but as I sit here crying to myself for your pain I will discuss it with them again tonight. Thank you for your story, that others may learn and possibly spare their children's lives in the process. May peace be with you and your family. Close

Though I have found out at such a late date about your loss I am so sorry to hear about your pain. I read the article in the SUnday paper today, Sept 16. I was in such shock since this was the first I had heard of it happening. All I could think about was the day I found out my services were no longer needed at Chrysalis since the teacher Devon Hastings was leaving the school. 

That day Austin, you and I were talking as I told him I was leaving. I will never forget his reply. He said "thats just not right" he also said " you are one of the nicest people here, no doubt". He will be truly missed and I am very happy to be able to say that I knew him.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your son Austin.  My son Dylan passed away July 13, 2007 as a result of the "Choking Game" that is a farce calling it a game.  I miss him terribly and I am sure that you do also.  Please accept my condolences and I will pray for you and your family.
